33 Years of Dance Mastery
2010 marks the
33rd season of the EGD Company, founded in 1976 by Jimmie & Carol
Ann Crowell. The 1978 company, left, featured OKC’s top dancers,
several of whom went on to become professionals on Broadway and
elsewhere, and three held the Miss Dance of Oklahoma title.
Through the
years, our company members have received many awards and
recognitions, including college scholarships, professional roles and
the opportunity to perform nationally and internationally.
Company members
must be proficient in ballet, jazz, tap and modern dance, and must
demonstrate a professional devotion to their art and a disciplined
attitude. Junior company members are in grades 5-8. Senior company
members are high school aged or older. |

EGD Junior Hip Hop Company
A new
performing/competition company formed in Spring 2010 for Hip Hop
dancers aged 8-12, under the direction of Ernesto Calderon. Come out
and cheer for them at festivals, showcases and competitions around
