Everything Goes Dance Studio

Everything Goes Dance teaches a variety of dance styles. We teach our students solid classical technique and then embellish it with the latest dance combinations. We offer a wide variety of classes and the best teachers in town.

Ballet & Pointe

Ballet is the foundation of most forms of dance. Our teachers help students develop strength, coordination and grace. Students are taught classical form in their earliest years of study, and later they build on that strong foundation to dance with grace and beauty as classical ballerinas or in other genres.

Everything Goes offers ballet for ages 3-adult. Students may start pointe classes with the approval of an instructor. Except in rare cases, pointe students should be 12 years of age or older.

Modern

Modern dance employs many of the forms and techniques of ballet but gets its inspiration from nature and from the diverse cultures of the world. Imagine moving like a dolphin, portraying a mountain, becoming a melody. Modern dance is not hindered by any preconceived notions and is one of the most creative forms of dance. Classes are open to dancers aged 7 and older.

Tap

From the old-style Vaudeville hoofers to modern sensations like TAP DOGS and Stomp! and incorporating moves from across the globe, our tap teachers keep things moving. Tap classes are offered for students in first grade and older. Several parents tap alongside their children, too! Our classes emphasize rhythmic shading, dynamic shading, musicaity, tonality and style.

Hip Hop

That could be YOU in the latest #1 music video! Hip Hop is just plain fun. You will learn the latest dance moves and have a great time. Dancers of any level, from beginning to professional, may enroll in hip hop classes. Open to ages 5 - adult. Make sure to check it out!

Mexican Folkloric

Folkloric Dance is a bright, colorful and exuberant representation of Mexican culture, performed to traditional and contemporary Mexican music. Folkloric instructor Erika Reyes is an award-winning Folkloric dancer who has been instructing children and adults in the art of Mexican Folkloric dance for many years.

Jazz

Imagine a Broadway stage ... the orchestra playing its heart out ... the chorus line behind you moving in perfect unison ... and you in the spotlight, flawlessly executing the choreography of last year's Tony Award winner. That's Jazz dance! It's flowing, rhythmic, hot, lyrical, expressive and FUN!

Register for a Jazz class and learn some of the moves that keep Everything Goes dancers in the winner's circle at competitions and festivals throughout the region. Jazz classes are offered for students aged 7 - adult.

Leaps & Turns

This is a specialty class for dancers who want to focus on leaps and turn combinations. This class is recommended for serious students who want to sharpen their technical ability. Students should be enrolled in a regular jazz or ballet class. This is a technique-only class which does not perform in our Christmas or Spring productions.

Flamenco

Flamenco is the classical dance form of many Hispanic cultures. Elegant, exciting, haunting and graceful, flamenco evokes images of courtly gentlemen, beautiful ladies and passionate emotions. Flamenco classes are offered for students ages 5 and above. Students must purchase a Flamenco costume; consult staff for details.

Latin

Hot moves, fast beats and loads of fun -- that's our Latin dance classes. If you've ever wanted to shine on the dance floor and make the music come alive, check out our Latin dance classes. Classes are open to men and women, age 15 and above. Lots of couples enjoy the classes. They're a great way to stay fit, have fun and meet new people.

Preschool Ballet

This class is for our littlest dancers. It emphasizes fitness, flexibility, fun, artistic expression and learning to work with others and follow directions. It is for children ages 3 and 4. Dust your little one's feet with stardust and start 'em on a lifetime of enjoyment, artistry and fitness.

Argentinian Tango

Professor Jose Alvarez brings the artistry and passion of true Argentinian Tango dance to OKC. You don't need a partner to learn this sophisticated and sultry form of ballroom dance.
