Shannon Calderon Primeau
About Our Director
Shannon Calderon Primeau, director and owner of Everything Goes Dance
Studio since 1995, has been dancing since the age of three and is the
director of Las Americas Dance Troupe and the Everything Goes Dance
Company. Shannon studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and flamenco under
Jimmie & Carol Crowell. She also studied flamenco and folkloric in
Mexico with El Arca, and tap and jazz in Los Angeles with Patsye
Swayze, and flamenco greats Lydia Torea, Jose Junco and Adela Clara.
Shannon was honored as one of Oklahoma's official Artists in Residence
and is an instructor with the National Endowment for the Arts Creative
Communities program. Recently Shannon has been performing with
world-renowned guitarists Edgar Cruz and Ruben Romero, and flamenco
great Catalina Rio-Fernandez in FLAMENCO LIVE! Shannon is founder and
artistic director of ZUMBAMBA! dance extravaganza. Shannon was the
featured dancer/choreographer of OPERA OLE! with Canterbury Chorale
Society and the OKC Philharmonic Orchestra. Shannon's mission is to
share the joys of dance with Oklahoma Cityans through teaching and
performances. Shannon teaches jazz, tap, ballet, Latin and flamenco,
and she choreographs many of our performances. Shannon was featured at
the San Diego, California Performing Arts Theatre and in flamenco
videos for PBS Television. She recently was the master artist for the Kansas
City Flamenco company, Ole! and featured dancer & instructor
at the 17th annual Robert Reed Tap Festival in St. Louis.

Lynna M.
Schneider
Lynna
M. Schneider has been dancing since the moment she could take her first
step. She began taking classes at the age of four with Barbie Rhea at
the Dave Anderson Dance Studio and continued her formal training at the
School of Ballet Oklahoma. She majored in ballet pedagogy at the
University of Oklahoma majoring in Ballet Pedagogy, where she studied
with Ko Yukihiro, George White, Denise Vail, and Cynthia Bond-Perry.
She transferred to the University of Central Oklahoma to complete her
degree in Dance Education. UCO provided exceptional training with Jamie
Jacobson, Anne Blasdel, and Tina Kambour. Being part of the
Kaleidoscope Dancers Company allowed Lynna to work with Holly Williams,
Rip Parker, Bill Evans, and Debra Wright Knapp. After receiving her
degree Lynna became a member of Prairie Dance Theater, Oklahoma's
premier Modern Dance Company. Lynna has taught at studios around
Oklahoma. Lynna currently spends her time chasing her 2-year-old
daughter, Zoe and caring for newborn son Ian, while teaching at Emerson
High School. Lynna is founder and director of PseudoDance, an
avante-garde modern dance company.

Cara Peters
Cara Peters began dancing at
the age of three. She took dance lesson in tap, jazz and ballet. In
high school Cara began studying modern dance. At East Central State
University she studied tap, jazz, ballet and modern, and added
partnering and ballroom dance. Cara was a member of ECU's dance group,
Collage, and attended the American College Dance Festival every year.
While in college Cara choreographed solo and ensemble dances for the
annual concert. In 2001, Cara received one of the first dance minors
ever awarded from East Central University. Dance is Cara's passion and
tap is her absolute favorite. Cara is cofounder and director of Lyra's
Muse Dance Company.

Delphina
Masri
Delphina has been
dancing and teaching for
20 years. She has danced with Farhana's Caravan Dancers under Farasha
Masri. She is the apprentice of Mamarra, Laurel of the Society for
Creative Anachronism. Delphina brings her love of Middle Eastern dance
to Oklahoma Cityans, helping each dancer explore her creative
potential. |

Robert
Reed
Robert L. Reed makes beautiful music and his feet are his
instruments. His high-powered act includes acrobatic tricks, acrobatic
tap, soft shoe, tacit tap, cane twirling, comedy, and song and dance. He received rave reviews
for his
teaching at Broadway Dance Center in NYC. For several years he
served as Professor and Artist-In -Residence at
a performing arts university.
Mr. Reed is proficient at teaching many styles of tap and is the
protégé of
Maceo Anderson, a founding member of the Four Step Brothers dance
act.
Three of his young students, the St. Louis Hoofers reached the
semi-finals on Star Search.
He was with Riverdance as dance captain and toured as a principle. with
Incognito in Europe. Reed was a featured artist at the Peg Leg Bates
Resort and
has toured with Cab Calloway. Mr. Reed has opened for such Luminaries
as Sammy
Davis Jr., Jerry Lewis, Redd Foxx, Cher, the Smothers Brothers and
David
Hasselhoff, just to name a very few. He is the founder and
executive/artistic
director of the internationally renowned St. Louis Tap Festival, which
is now in it's 16th year. Reed is also the founder of the Robert L.
Reed
Tap Heritage Institute, Inc., a non-profit organization. He
appears in the critically acclaimed Peg
Leg Pates documentary Dancing with the Peg. He performs and travels
worldwide.
As two of the Six Feet of Rhythm he performed with his daughter Robin
and his son Robert
L. Reed III, who toured with Savion Glover in the international tour of
"Bring in da Noise, Bring in da
Funk". Robert hosted his own television show in Japan named for
him.
The Mayor of St. Louis declared July 30, 2005 as
Robert L. Reed Tap Heritage Day. |

Erika Reyes
Erika Reyes is an accomplished
dancer who has trained with some of Oklahoma's most
outstanding teachers. She is skilled in ballet, modern, tap,
jazz, salsa, Flamenco and other dance genres. Erika has
trained at Everything Goes for 16 years and graduated from
Classen School of Advanced Studies as a dance major, where she
was the youngest student to solo in Nutcracker. Erika has won
many awards for her Flamenco, jazz and modern work and has
performed with Opera Ole! at OKC's Civic Center and with Ruben
Romero. She participated in Oklahoma's
prestigious Summer Arts
Workshop at Quartz Mountain. She is now a dance major at UCO
and Assistant Director of both
our Flamenco companies and the Everything Goes Dance Company.
Erika teaches ballet, jazz, Flamenco, tap, Mexican Folkloric
and hip hop, and assists Shannon. Erika was crowned Miss
Hispanic UCO in April 2008. |

Laurey Pike
Artist, Choreographer, Dancer, Video
& Film director and marketer, Laurey graduated with a film degree
and had planned to go to Hollywood to produce motion pictures, but
decided to work with Oklahomans in film, music and dance. "I get so
excited when I hear tight beats, but then you add God-given talent with
a positive, life-giving message and it just makes me want to share this
art form with everyone! I believe that Hip Hop music and dance are two
of the most powerful mediums in our society today." Laurey teaches Hip
Hop at our studio.

Ernesto Calderon
Ernesto's credits include award-winning
dance routines for Color Me Badd's tour with Paula Abdul. His
classes are fast and furious. Ernesto's students learn stage
presence and street style dance routines that true hip hop dancers
admire. Back by popular demand, he'll teach Hip Hop and a special
boys' hip hop styling class. Ernesto has taught at the Studio for
7 years.

Nicole Hamilton
Nicole Hamilton trained at
Pam’s Academy in McAlester, where she also taught dance. Her
pom squad at McAlester HS won the state championship. She
attended St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee, where she was a
member of the Spirit & Sole Dance Ensemble. Nicole loves Hip
Hop because it has high energy, sharp moves, a bumpin’ beat,
and everyone can learn and enjoy it. |

Kelsey Renee Faulk
Kelsey has been active in dance, musical theatre, and drama
since the age of six. She began tap at Everything Goes in
1997, and since then has added ballet, jazz, pointe and modern
to her repertoire. She has trained with some of the top dance
instructors and theatre directors in the state and has won
numerous awards, including the prestigious Jewel Box Theatre
Gem Award as Best Female Newcomer in 2007. Kelsey landed her
first lead acting role at the age of eight and began
performing dance solos when she was eleven. She was the
teacher and choreographer for the first theatre dance class
offered at Putnam City North High School in the spring of
2008. Kelsey teaches tap, ballet, and Everything Goes’ brand
new musical theatre class. She plans to continue her
education in dance and musical theatre at the University of
Central Oklahoma starting Fall of 2008. |

Camille
Landry
Our webmistress Camille, aside from being "a dance mama
with a vengeance," in a former life (i.e., before children)
was a dancer, choreographer, singer and actor. She
comes to our faculty to present "Manners & Poise for Girls &
Boys," a class in etiquette for young
people. This class will be offered during school breaks (Fall,
Holiday, Spring, etc.). |

Robin Eakins & Elaine Woosley
They keep the place running.
Our office manager, Robin Eakins and assistant manager Elaine
Woosley make sure tuition is collected, parents, teachers and
students are informed and boutique customers are well served.
Their smiles and helpful attitudes make everyone's job easier.
Their passion for dance and love of children are reflected in
all they do. |

Leia Eubanks
Leia hails from Milledgeville,
GA and is a dance major at OCU's Ann Lacy School of American
Dance & Arts Management, from which she will graduate in
December 2009. She has an extensive background in dance,
theater, stage management, entertainment technology and
performing arts management. Leia will teach Modern and Hip
Hop.

Leila
Pourbabaee
Leila Pourbabaee began her
dance training at age 4. She has trained with instructors from
Tulsa Ballet, Houston Ballet, Ballet Magnificat, Kansas City
Ballet, Ballet Austin, the Martha Graham Dance Company, Alvin
Ailey American Dance Theater, Pilobolus, Kathy Dunn Hamrick
Dance Company and the Radio City Rockettes. Leila has also
studied ballet and modern dance at the University of Oklahoma.
Leila was selected to attend the Oklahoma Summer Arts
Institute for three consecutive years, and was accepted into
an apprenticeship program with Ballet Magnificat, a
professional ballet company in Jackson, Mississippi, in 2002.
She first began teaching dance in 1997 and completed a dance
pedagogy program under the direction of Cindi Miller. Leila is
a member of and the Assistant to the Director of Pseudodance
Theatre, a modern dance company based in Oklahoma City, and is
currently working to complete her B.F.A. in Dance Performance
at the University of Central Oklahoma. |
